As we are at the cusp of a digital revolution with AI beginning to expand its claws in all spheres of humanity, there is a lot of excitement/fear among people on how it will impact businesses and jobs.
But, we have grossly underestimated the magnificence and beauty of the human brain. Almost demeaned its capacity and neuroplasticity to adapt and evolve constantly. We also forget that AI was given birth by a human brain. Of course, it is rightly believed that AI has a mind of its own and the possibilities are infinite but we are already starting to see repeated patterns and mundanity.
Every new technology which looked disruptive at first glance has eventually become a pet for humans to better themselves.
It drains me so much more to feed data to the AI for interpretation than interpreting it myself, because the results it delivers cannot fathom the beauty of our flawed personalities. AI can give you a perfect skin but can never deliver a scar with a specific, incredibly personal memory attached to it.
Yes, routine, every day tasks will have a lot of AI involved hereon but forget it taking creative roles. Humans will always aspire for stories which can be felt, is relatable and are most importantly flawed.
People look for flaws that they can talk about and fix and can eventually fall in love with.
